I will ask you to send me your submission pack, including a covering letter, a synopsis and the first 5,000 words of your manuscript.
Next, I’ll compile a written report full of feedback that you can action to get the content into shape. You’ll have up to a month to schedule a half hour telephone appointment with me to discuss any questions you may still have.

What if I need more?
If your submission pack needs a lot of reworking and you need more input after the wrap up phone call, you can schedule an hour long session with me. (Note: any time needed to read new material is counted as part of the session). Or you may want to check out what other services I offer that might be useful to you.

What if I haven’t started yet?
The best way to learn how to put a pack together from scratch, and then workshop it into shape in a supportive environment, is to join one of our Nail the Agent Submission mini-courses that I occasionally run over at The Writing Retreat. The course consists of four two-hour group sessions live on Zoom, taking you through each of the steps of compiling your package, explaining the reasoning behind each element, and workshopping and feeding back as we go.
